As a US Army soldier, I had the pleasure of serving with the 4th Infantry Division Ft Carson Co, the 32nd Air Defense Command, Darmstadt Germany and the US Army Electronics Proving Grounds, Ft Huachuca Arizona. I still consider graduating from the 4th Infantry Divisions NCO Academy as one of my proudest accomplishments and serving as the NCO in Charge of the 11 AD Signal Battalions Systems Control Center as my greatest role.
After the Army I attended and graduated from Wisconsin School of Electronics in Madison, WI as a Certified Electronics Technician. I was hired prior to graduation and spent the next 20 years as part of the company Nicolet Instruments. I was promoted many times becoming the Director of Global Service. During the 20 years with Nicolet, I completed a BS in Technical Management from Regis University in Denver Colorado and received my MBA from Edgewood College in Madison. As part of my passion for quality, I received a Six Sigma Green Belt from Wisconsin’s NE Technical College.
I held senior roles (Sr Manager, Director, VP and President) with different companies including Thermo Nicolet, Eclipse Combustion, Satisloh, and Spectrum Brands. For ten years I was an adjunct instructor with Cardinal Stritch University’s College of Business.
As a business leader I have had the great opportunity to hire many former military personnel and I continue to provide mentoring and council for my fellow military alumni whenever they have asked. I believe the military was a great part of the reason I've been successful, and I believe it is my duty to help other veterans whenever I can.
